For those of you who would like to make a weekend of it Carnlough  is a small village situated at the foot of the Glens of Antrim on the famous Antrim Coast Road. It has much to offer the painter with a picturesque village which includes a small harbour. A short walk brings you to Cranny Falls, or drive along the Coast Road to Glenarm Castle with its lovely walled garden or up through the Glens. If you want to stay the historic Londonderry Arms Hotel is situated in the heart of the village or you may prefer a bed and breakfast in the area.

‘Donegal Painting Holidays
Rosie McClelland is again running her very popular painting holidays in Donegal. The Location for these holidays is the Kilcar/Killybegs area of south-west Donegal. The first is a weekend Starting Friday 24th June to Sunday 26th June. The weekend includes meeting on Friday for introductions tea and snacks. Two full painting days starting at 10am painting on location with a break for lunch at 1pm and another painting session from 2pm to 5pm. A critique and feedback will take place at 5pm on the final afternoon. A light lunch and beverages is provided on each day. The second holiday is a painting week starting on Sunday 7th August at 7pm for evening tea and introductions. There is four full days painting at a number of locations in the local area. One sight-seeing day with gallery visit, and light lunch and beverages are included. Details of how to book either of these holidays:
