I wouldn’t mind having a go at organising an exhibition in the Waterford/Tramore area for sometime in 2012. Any other members have any thoughts about this ?
Great idea Joe. Catherine (Our Chaiperson) is trying to set up sattellite committees in each of the provinces to enable a wider spread of exhibitions and workshops. If you e-mail her and let her know you are interested she will put you in touch with the members closest to you. The Society has Standard Operating Procedures for running exhibitions that can be shared and we may also be able to provide financial support (within reason) in terms of hiring venues, promotional material and opening nights. We also have our own supply of hooks, hanging materials etc.
